Allied Capital and Development of South Florida Supports Local Jupiter Charity

Local Business Leader, Nicholas Mastroianni II, supports local community by donating to local charity, Friends of Jupiter Beach.

The local real estate development company, Allied Capital and Development of South Florida, headed by Nicholas Mastroianni II, is donating the use of Harbourside Place real estate to the local charity Friends of Jupiter Beach.   In an effort to raise money for the organization, Friends of Jupiter Beach organizes the use of the Harbourside Place property as a parking lot to host fundraisers to help keep the beaches of Jupiter clean and continue to allow dogs onto the beaches of Jupiter.   Allied Capital and Development of South Florida is a strong proponent of keeping the beaches in Jupiter open to families and their pets through this active clean up program.  The access for owners and their dogs alike to the Jupiter Beaches are one of the many differences that set Jupiter apart from other communities across Florida.

About Friends of Jupiter Beach:

In 1994, the threat of closing the beach to dogs rallied a small group of concerned citizens, who mobilized quickly and began organizing beach cleanups and providing dog waste bags at beach crossovers. Since then, the growth of the group has exploded, as individuals and businesses rally to join an effort which repeatedly demonstrates care for their marine environment and the privilege of taking our four-footed friends to one of the last dog beaches in the area.  We continually remind beach visitors to pick up! Leash up! and use best beach etiquette.  We work closely with Town of Jupiter officials, Jupiter Police Department and Palm Beach County.  We respect and promote the work of our like-minded conservation organizations and those with whom we share the beach.   We do all of this with no financial support from governmental agencies; we rely on the support of volunteers, donors and sponsors.  We’re sixteen years young and dedicated to keeping our mission alive:  to keep Jupiter Beach clean & dog-friendly with emphasis on volunteerism and education.
